The Gordie Howe International Bridge is set to open on July 27, but questions still remain about the profit-sharing deal negotiated between Canada and the United States. Canada financed the entire $6.4 billion in costs for the construction and development of the bridge and Prime Minister Mark Carney has said bridge toll sharing with the U.S. will not kick in until the debt is repaid.
