FarEye, an AI-powered logistics and supply chain software provider, has been named in the 2026 Gartner Market Guide for Vehicle Routing and Scheduling (VRS).

The inclusion marks FarEye’s 12th overall Gartner recognition – a track record of sustained recognition across successive Gartner reports in the VRS category.

Gartner describes FarEye as a specialist in order orchestration, route optimisation, visibility and customer experience, and notes its global footprint with its largest customer base in the US and a strong presence in Europe and Asia.

The recognition comes as demand for VRS technology continues to climb. The guide cites a Precedence Research forecast of a 15 per cent compound annual growth rate for the market from 2026 to 2035, driven by rising e-commerce, delivery and routing complexity across logistics.

According to the guide, AI has moved from a feature enhancement to a core strategic mandate for VRS vendor roadmaps, spanning planning, customer service, cost control, driver support and sustainability.

FarEye built its AI dispatcher, PILOT, for exactly this shift — from software that plans deliveries to software that runs them.

PILOT is designed to absorb the day-to-day dispatch decisions that have historically filled a dispatcher’s workday, supported by a suite of subagents including Smart Service Time and Smart Parking.

Gartner noted that VRS vendor roadmaps are extending AI agent development into areas such as carrier onboarding and integration, rule configuration for complex rate cards, and end-user system navigation assistance.

FarEye’s roadmap tracks the same direction, extending PILOT’s role-specific agents into service-time prediction and cost reconciliation while scaling its core routing platform.

As per the Precedence Research forecast cited by Gartner, Asia/Pacific is expected to be the fastest-growing region through 2035, with India a major contributor to that growth.
