SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, September 11. On September 11, the first day of the visit by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur included visits to and inspections of a number of sites in the cities of Khankendi and Shusha, Trend's correspondent reports from the event.

In accordance with the visit program, representatives of the diplomatic corps first familiarized themselves with the ongoing works at the Khankendi Railway and Bus Terminal Complex. The participants were briefed on the work being carried out at the complex.

The delegation then visited the Cultural Center in Khankendi, where Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev welcomed the participants of the visit.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps visited the Victory Park and took a commemorative photograph in front of the Victory Arch.

As part of the visit, the participants also familiarized themselves with Karabakh University. They were briefed on the facilities created at the university and its activities. The representatives of the diplomatic corps then visited the sewing factory of *AzCotton LLC*, operating in Khankendi, and familiarized themselves with the enterprise’s activities.

The visit continued in the city of Shusha. Representatives of the diplomatic corps were briefed on the restoration and reconstruction works being carried out in the city. The diplomats inspected the construction of the New Shusha Mosque. They then visited Jidir Duzu, Karabakh Street and Shusha Central Square, as well as the “House of Sadigjan” and the Upper Govhar Agha Mosque. They also inspected the shot-up busts located in Shusha Central Square.

The diplomats viewed the exhibition “Heydar Aliyev and Karabakh” at the Shusha Creative Center. Afterwards, they visited the Shusha fortress walls and took a commemorative photograph in front of the walls. Representatives of the diplomatic corps familiarized themselves with the facilities created in the first residential quarter and met with residents of Shusha.

The participants of the visit attended an official reception held in Shusha on the occasion of the Independence Day of the United Mexican States.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, participating in a visit to Azerbaijan's Karabakh and East Zangezur, have viewed the New Shusha Mosque, which is currently under construction in Shusha, Trend's correspondent sent to Karabakh and East Zangezur reports.

The delegation was provided with detailed information about the construction work being carried out at the mosque and the status of the project's implementation.

On September 11, a two-day visit by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to Karabakh and East Zangezur began, accompanied by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev.

The visit is attended by a delegation of 150 people representing 58 countries and 9 international organizations.
