Gemma Collins has doubled down on her praise of a fellow I'm A Celebrity South Africa campmate and thanked them for helping make her unbreakable

Gemma Collins might be out of the running for the I'm A Celebrity South Africa crown, but she made her thoughts very clear on who she wants to win. The former Towie favourite became the third campmate to leave the ITV series after David Haye opted for her to join him on the trip home.

But as she continues to revel in her pride for overcoming her fears and putting things right after quitting over a decade ago, the GC has also laid huge praise on a fellow campmate. Sharing a montage of their best bits together, Gemma put her support behind Adam Thomas to be crowned King of the Jungle.

She captioned her Instagram video: "Only people who recognise your magic deserve the best of you. Not everyone has the eyes for it, and that’s not your problem. Save your sparkle for the ones who feel your light, not the ones who squint at it."

She went on to call him her "best jungle friend ever". Explaining her comment, she said: "Not just for the laughs, but for every storm we somehow danced through.

"We’ve seen each other at our lowest and still chose to stay, to lift, to believe. That journey… it didn’t just make memories, it made us unbreakable. Forever grateful for you. Always. adamthomas21"

And she ended by urging her followers to vote for Adam to win in Friday's final. She also got the Jedward brothers behind her campaign as they shared a message in support of the former Emmerdale star.

Adam earlier came out to say he would've quit the camp if it wasn't for Gemma. He had previously admitted that he was "broken" by some of the comments from David Haye in camp, who just last night said Adam's comments about his physical struggles are "just not a frequency I recognise".

But in a sweet social media post on Tuesday, Adam thanked Gemma for her support on the show. He uploaded an image of the pair on the ITV show and wrote: "From start to finish you was real, no act, no front, just you.

"The laughs, the tears, the way you were there for people when they needed it most, especially Me! I was there to pick you up and you did the same for me, had my back every step of the way.

"If I'm being honest, if you wasn't in there I probably would've walked a long time ago. You kept it going for me more than you even know. Everyone can see how special you are. You showed humility, empathy, strength, and still managed to bring the entertainment every single time!!

"As a viewer, you MADE that show for me. No question. Should've been in that final, should've been crowned, but either way, you'll always be my queen of the jungle. Best thing to ever come out of that experience for me… was meeting you @gemmacollins."
