'Jana Nayagan' crosses Rs 49 crore India gross

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, 'Jana Nayagan' earned Rs 2.29 crore net in India on Day 2 as of the latest update. The film is currently running across 4,027 shows nationwide. With this early figure, the film has now collected Rs 43.29 crore (India net) and Rs 50.97 crore (India gross). The final Day 2 figures are expected to rise significantly as evening and night show collections are added.

On its opening day, the film collected an impressive Rs 41 crore net in India and Rs 78.27 crore worldwide gross, giving it one of Vijay's strongest openings.

Tamil Nadu remains the biggest market for Vijay's film

The film's opening-day performance was led by Tamil Nadu, which contributed nearly Rs 24 crore to the domestic gross collections. Karnataka followed with Rs 11.25 crore, while Kerala added Rs 5.52 crore. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana accounted for Rs 4 crore, and the other markets contributed the rest.

The Tamil version led collections with Rs 36.50 crore net, and the Telugu and Hindi versions collected Rs 2.75 crore and Rs 1.75 crore, respectively.
