Fresh Sliced KiwifruitInternational sales from kiwifruit exports from all countries totaled US$5.36 billion in 2025.
That dollar amount results from a 37.2% increase from five years earlier in 2021 when exported kiwifruits were worth $3.9 billion.
Year over year, worldwide revenues from kiwifruit exports accelerated by 23.8% compared to $4.33 billion starting from 2024.
In 2025, the top 5 most valuable exporters of kiwifruits are New Zealand, Italy, Belgium, Greece and Chile. Collectively, that quintet of major suppliers sold 87.9% of the total value for globally exported kiwifruits. Such a high percentage signals a concentrated subset of leading international kiwifruit sellers.
Among continents, Oceanic exporters led by New Zealand sold the highest dollar worth of exported kiwifruits during 2025 with shipments valued at $2.6 billion or 48.3% of the world total. In second place were shippers based in Europe at 42.9%.
Smaller percentages originated from kiwifruit exporters in Latin America (5.5%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean, Asia (2.4%), North America (0.6%) and Africa (0.2%).
