The Love Island winners are Julia and Lorenzo
Julia and Lorenzo have won Love Island! The two have been fan favourites since they returned from Casa Amor.
This was largely due to a love for Lorenzo, who won over the nation when cried after Tommy left the villa, and because Julia was in a feud with Lola.
The two previously won favourite couple. After winning the whole thing, Julia said she wanted Lorenzo to move in with her.

Love Island: The Year of the Murphys
How many people in the UK have the last name Murphy? Because as the 2026 season's recap has aired during the final, it seems like half of them have entered the villa at some point.
First we had Aidan, then his brother Kavan. Third was Tommy Murphy (not a relation) and finally Charleen (definitely not a relation, as she dated Kavan).

What do Yasmin and Tommy really think of being dumped?
Yasmin: "Oh my god, it was a plot twist. I was very surprised about what happened. But to be honest, it was the right decision out of all the couples that were remaining. It was the right decision.
"So I wasn't surprised as soon as we got that text. Even when we were sat at the fire pit and the ex islanders came in, I knew that there might be a possibility that we were going home. So as soon as the text came through, I knew it would be us leaving and I was quite at ease with it. I think I was ready to go."
Tommy: "Obviously yesterday was quite a surprise, I think, for everyone in terms of not just one dumping, but two. After Mica and Samraj left, we were sort of all sitting around the garden and just saying how every single person deserved to be in that final. We were all happy and then the text came through. It was a big shock. But I think we were just ready to go on into the outside world now."

Yasmin and Tommy dumped!
Even though some former Islanders thought Yasmin and Tommy would win the show, Mica and Samraj decided to send the couple home, meaning they only just missed out on the final.
The pair decided to put their friendships with the Islanders to the back of their minds, as proven by the fact that Yasmin and Mica had a strong friendship.
Yasmin admitted she was shocked that she was sent home as she was left asking: "What the hell just happened?"
Lorenzo was once again left crying over a Tommy leaving the show.

Love Island Casa Amor bombshell shares truth about 'scripted' scenes
A former Love Island star has revealed just how scripted the ITV dating show which prides itself on helping singletons find true love really is.
Series 11 of the show saw content creator, Joel Kirby, arrive in Casa Amor on Day 28. However, just three days later, the Devon-born influencer was sent packing.
The outspoken star has now lifted the lid on his brief spell on the show."So when I went on, you're only filming for about five hours a day," Joel said. He went on to add: "An hour and a half in the morning, an hour and a half after lunch, and about two hours after dinner."

What does 'pog mo thoin' mean?
'Pog mo thoin' seems to be Julia's favourite comeback, but what does it mean?
The phrase is an Irish Gaelic phrase for 'kiss my a**' and has generally been considered cheeky rather than a serious insult.
Having first said it to Lola and now to Sean, Julia introduced the phrase to Love Island, but it was Galway boy Sean who taught it to her. The school teacher admitted after he left the show that he was the reason the Polish bombshell was speaking Gaelic.

Watching this year’s show has brought back plenty of memories, and Millie is loving the girls.

As usual, ITV have cleared the schedules for the Love Island final (yes, Family Guy is having a break). It will begin on ITV2 at 9pm and run until 10.20pm. And the best part is it's going to be live so anything could happen. And usually does.

'Love Island is still making the same mistake'
The Mirror's Jasmine Allday writes: "Another series of Love Island draws to a close and we're still faced with the same issue.
Every May, the promise of a long hot summer watching everyone parade around in bikinis arrives in my inbox, on our social media feeds and in the TV adverts between our favourite shows.
I was an avid watcher of the show back in 2017, the iconic third series, which featured the likes of Amber Davies, Chris Hughes, Olivia Attwood, Gabby Allen, Georgia Harrison and Camilla Thurlow, but now I struggle to tune in."

Why are Love Island fans talking about job-shaming?

(Image: Lifted Entertainment/Shutterstock)
Just before the final, Love Island fans started talking about job-shaming.
Why? Contestant Priya Jaswal had gotten into an argument with Elicia Bailey and told the team organiser to "go back to National Rail".
Priya faced heavy backlash for the comment as many felt it was shaming Elicia for her job and sparked a classism row. Elicia went back on the show to say that she didn't appreciate the comment and was proud of her job and how hard she worked for it.

Naomi Ball - the OG villain or hard done by?

(Image: rex)
Cast your mind back to 2015 - Love Island was only on its first season and the nation was turning against Naomi Ball.
The bombshell came in and almost immediately clashed with eventual winner Jess Hayes. But was she really a villain or was someone else to blame?
The two primarily fought over their feelings for Josh Ritchie, especially when Josh dumped Naomi for not being willing to sleep with him.
He then brazenly asked: "Do I now carry on with Jess, get my end away, have a good three-weeks sh*gging, or do I start something with Naomi, where something can be long term and something maybe outside of the villa but not have sex, not have as much of a laugh? It’s a genuine penis/head dilemma."
With a love interest like that, who needs enemies?

Love Island 2026 final winner 'revealed' hours before result
If five past Love Island stars are correct, two couples could be battling it out to win the 2026 series on ITV2 on Monday night. But could we have a tie for the first time? Some of this year's cast are betting on it, telling the Mirror who they think will win the show.
When asked who will win the show, Charleen Murphy, Mara Pirez, Ope Sowande, Lola Deal and Sean Fitzgeraldall had their say. They were slightly split, but with the same two couples.
So could we have out first double win, or our first split of the vote? The stars certainly think so, tipping Tommy Stagg and Yasmin Hadlow and Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak to be this year's winners.
