We all know the story of JFK how about his father and the other Kennedys?  Kennedy will be the  series  Netflix based on Joe Kennedy Snr  story and today we have the first look at Michael Fassbender as Joe Kennedy Sr.

Kennedy is an upcoming 8-episode Netflix series based on 2020 JFK biography, JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917-1956. The historical drama will explore the Kennedy family dynamics, beginning in the 1930s, while delving into the rise of Joe and Rose Kennedy as the infamous political figures they become.

Laura Donnelly will star as Rose Kennedy, Nick Robinson as Joe Kennedy Jr. and Joshua Melnick as Jack Kennedy. Sam Shaw (Castle Rock) will serve as showrunner and executive producer, with Thomas Vinterberg directing the first and last episode

Synopsis | KENNEDY reveals the intimate lives, loves, rivalries and tragedies that shaped the most iconic dynasty in modern history, and helped create the world we live in today. Beginning in the 1930s, the first season charts the improbable ascent of Joe and Rose Kennedy and their nine children, including rebellious second son Jack, who struggles to escape the shadow of his golden boy older brother.

The supporting cast includes: Lydia Peckham (Robin Hood, Nuremberg) as Rosemary Kennedy, the third child. Tipper Seifert-Cleveland (Cruella) as younger Rosemary Kennedy. Saura Lightfoot-Leon (Hoard, The Agency) as Kick Kennedy, the fourth child. Miley Locke as the younger Kick Kennedy,  Georgina Bitmead (Heartstopper) as Eunice Kennedy, the fifth child. Ben Miles (Andor, The Crown) as Eddie Moore, longtime confidant and personal secretary to Joe Kennedy Sr. Wyatt Russell (Monarch, Thunderbolts), as Charles Lindbergh, Toby Huss (Weapons) as Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd POTUS. Albert Welling (Succession, Mr Bates vs. the Post Office) as Sir Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940-1945 and 1951-1955.

Kennedy does not yet have a release date. The series is in the middle of production in London. Netflix will release more information soon.
