Patrick Clancy and his wife, Rachel Danis, have announced that they are expecting to start a family — and say they look forward to sharing memories of his three children who were tragically killed by his former wife, Lindsay Clancy.

Danis, an infertility specialist who married Patrick earlier this year, shared the news while sitting beside him during an interview with “60 Minutes.” It was Patrick’s first interview since Lindsay’s high-profile murder trial ended in a hung jury earlier this month.

When journalist Ross Douthat asked whether the couple was starting a family, Danis confirmed that they were.

Patrick said he is eager to one day tell his future children about 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan, the three children he lost.

“I think every parent can agree, you have different relationships with your kids, but they’re all your kids. And I can’t wait to tell them about their brothers and sister,” he said during the interview.

Patrick and Danis married in April during a private ceremony at the Ladies Pavilion in New York City’s Central Park, the place where Danis said their relationship began.

“I was just a girl that met a guy running in Central Park on a really cold Saturday,” Danis recalled, brushing aside criticism of their marriage from online trolls and influencers.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that,” she added.

Patrick relocated to Manhattan after discovering that his three young children had been strangled by Lindsay at their Massachusetts home in January 2023.

He later met Danis, 37, a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at a New York City reproductive clinic. The two soon developed a relationship.

Photos shared on social media have since documented their romance, including images of the couple attending the same Barry’s workout class and smiling together at the New York City Marathon in November 2025.
