Sourabh Ajmera has been elected Chairman of the Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at its 375th meeting held on February 25, 2026. Rikin Patel, Bishan Shah and Rakesh Shah were elected as Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of the WIRC of ICAI.

An official statement said Rajesh Agrawal has nominated Chairman of the Western India Chartered Accountants Students’ Association (WICASA) for the year 2026-27

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body set up by an act of Parliament. It is the only institution in India with dual roles as regulatory body, developing the accounting profession and educating and training CA students.
