Long in the works, San Francisco’s Slug Bikes has finally launched its titanium hardtail, the Slug Gasser. Available in two mechanical build kits or as a frameset, this alluring hardtail features some interesting 3D-printed tech. For more, check out all the details below…

Though you’ll have seen the Slug Gasser featured before, the brand hasn’t actually held stock of the bike since launching in February of 2025. Originally starting with a titanium gravel bike called the Earthling, the brand’s second official model is a 120mm suspension-corrected titanium hardtail with UDH compatibility and clearance for 29 x 2.6″ tires.

Hitting their site today, the Gasser uses heat-treated and custom butted 3Al-2.5V titanium tubing and has three water bottle positions, rear rack mounts, internal dropper routing, and a T47 bottom bracket standard. The brand has also underlined its use of a 3D-printed titanium yoke. Designed by co-founder Byron Lee, the Lucky Yoke is said to offer variable wall thickness and natural flex. It’s made of grade 5 titanium and allows the bike to maintain clearance for 2.6″ tires and a 36T chainring.

The Gasser is available as a frame-only for $3,000, or in two complete mechanical build kits—the All Gas and the All Day. Both retail for $5,900 but differ in their drivetrain, fork, and tire options. The All Gas comes with SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission, a 130mm Pike Select fork, and Schwalbe Albert Radial 29 x 2.5” tires, while the All Day uses a Shimano XT mechanical drivetrain, a 120mm FOX 34SL fork, and Schwalbe Rick XC 29 x 2.4” tires.
