Teravail has just launched another 32-inch tire, making it one of the few brands with multiple offerings in the larger wheel size. This fast-rolling gravel-oriented tire featured in Neil’s review of the Salsa Fargo 32 and has now been released to the public. Find all the specifics below…

Teased in Neil’s review of the Salsa Fargo 32, the Teravail Cannonball 32 tire is a new offering focused on fast-rolling surfaces. It’s the second tire they’ve released in the 32″ size, with the first being their mountain-bike-oriented Camrock. Using the same tread pattern from the original 29″ Teravail Cannonball, the tire features a directional, tight-knit center line that the brand says sheds dirt and debris to decrease rolling resistance. It also has elevated side knobs for more cornering traction. The center lugs are raised and ramped, with diamond-shaped lugs designed to squeeze inward for grip as they contact dirt.

The Cannonball 32’s casing uses a superstructure casing with extra-fine, hardened nylon fibers. Teravail says this results in a lighter, stronger tire that resists punctures and sidewall folding, while also helping maximize the rollover capability and momentum of larger 32” tires. Currently, it’s only available in the Light & Supple compound, in a 2.2″ width, with black sidewalls. The tire has a 120 TPI casing and weighs 765 grams. The Cannonball 32 retails for $95 and can be purchased directly from Teravail.
