New Delhi: Mumbai Indians became the second team to crash out of the Indian Premier League after losing to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in a last-over thriller on Sunday. The result means the mighty MI unit will go without silverware for a sixth consecutive season — the longest trophy drought in their history — and will miss the playoffs for the fourth time since 2022.It has been a steep fall for the franchise since winning back-to-back titles in 2019 and 2020.
