MS Dhoni may have been away from competitive cricket in recent months, but the former India captain continues to grab attention wherever he goes. On Monday, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend was spotted at the Madras International Circuit in Irungattukottai near Chennai, where he enjoyed a thrilling ride on a superbike during a promotional event.

The appearance quickly became a talking point among fans, with videos of Dhoni taking on the racing circuit making the rounds on social media. Known for his love of high-performance motorcycles, the 45-year-old looked completely at ease as he took to one of India’s premier racing venues.

Dhoni attended the event organised by TVS Eurogrip, where he tested the company’s flagship motorcycle tyres on the permanent racing circuit. Wearing full riding gear, the former India skipper completed a series of high-speed laps, confidently opening the throttle as he navigated the circuit.

After finishing his stint, Dhoni returned to the pit lane, where photographers gathered to capture the moment. He then removed his helmet and acknowledged the cheering spectators with a warm wave, drawing loud applause from the fans who had assembled to catch a glimpse of the cricketing icon. The videos of Dhoni’s ride quickly went viral, with fans praising his riding skills and his continued passion for superbikes even after another busy cricketing season.

Dhoni’s IPL future continues to remain a talking point

While Dhoni spent the day enjoying his time on the racetrack, discussions surrounding his cricketing future continue to gather pace. Since the conclusion of IPL 2026, speculation has persisted over whether the Chennai Super Kings legend will return for another season or decide to call time on his illustrious playing career. Dhoni remained a part of the CSK squad during IPL 2026 but spent the entire campaign recovering from injuries. He did not travel with the team for away fixtures, leaving many fans disappointed as they hoped to see the legendary wicketkeeper-batter in action.

The uncertainty has only increased following Chennai Super Kings’ recent coaching reshuffle, with long-serving head coach Stephen Fleming bringing an end to his highly successful association with the franchise after nearly two decades. As CSK prepare for the next phase of their journey, Dhoni’s future remains one of the biggest talking points in the cricketing world.

For now, however, the former India captain appears content enjoying life away from the game, balancing his brand commitments with his long-standing love for motorcycles while fans eagerly await clarity on whether they will see him don the iconic yellow jersey once again.
