Here is how Haiti will stack up against Brazil - can they cause a huge shock against the five-time winners?

Scotland 0-1 Morocco

That's it, Scotland walk away empty handed. They were poor in the first half, much better in the second but it didn't matter in the end.

They should have had a penalty and that will certainly be a big talking point after the match.

VAR drama erupts

Scotland would've felt aggrieved by the earlier John McGinn incident but there were even more incensed when Scott McTominay was clearly tripped inside the box in the 81st minute only to see the referee wave it away and VAR fail to intervene.

McTominay was stunned and furious. ITV analyst Christina Unkel insisted it was a penalty. She said: "The first thing you’re looking for as VAR is any touch on that ball and the answer is no.

"We saw that second replay there and exactly what I was looking for, there was no contact on that ball. There is a trip up from behind, contact on the left lower leg. I do think there is a missed incident from the VAR to recommend a penalty, as well as the referee to not make a decision on a penalty. I know this referee is calling a more physical game but it is a very clear penalty in my opinion."

Scotland fans pay tribute to fan who passed away

In the 76th minute, Scotland fans did a minute's applause for travelling supporter Donny Strathie, who died in Boston while supporting the team. The 78-year-old travelled to the States to fulfill a life long dream of watching Scotland at the World Cup.

Before he was able to watch Steve Clarke's side face up against Morocco, he died suddenly, leaving behind two daughters and two grand children.

Should John McGinn have had a penalty?

John McGinn went down in the box shortly before the hydration break. The Aston Villa captain immediately looked to the referee for a penalty.

The official briefly heard voices from VAR in his head, but McGinn's protestations were ultimately waved away. Do you think Scotland were unfortunate to not get a spot-kick?

Scotland survive

Morocco have come so close to going 2-0 up.

A cross into the box is steered towards goal by first half goalscorer Ismael Saibari. His scuffed effort deflects off the leg of a Scotland defender, bounces in the air and hits the top off the crossbar.

From the resulting corner, Bilal El Khannouss flicks a near post header goal bound and forces a great save from Angus Gunn. Scotland are still alive right now.

Brazil vs Haiti buildup

Brazil and Haiti fans have brought the carnival atmosphere to Philadelphia for their second game of the FIFA World Cup. In a tournament known for its vibrant fans, these two groups are two of the most colourful. Fans have been playing two-touch together in the car park and sharing BBQ in a blend of American tailgating and Brazilian churrascaria culture.

When it comes to the game, Brazil are expecting much more after a lacklustre performance against Morocco in their opening game. Haiti are simply happy to be here, but dreaming of an upset after seeing Spain held by Cape Verde a few days ago.

Scotland trailing 1-0 at half-time

Scotland would have been fearing the worst after going a goal down after just 70 seconds. But they've hung in there and are at least only trailing by a single goal at half-time.

Morocco, meanwhile, have been strangely passive since a dominant opening 15 minutes or so. It feels like they've slightly let Steve Clarke's side off the hook here - even if they are still in control.

Graham Potter admission

Graham Potter has revealed how going through the tough times in England was worth it to experience beautiful moments like the ones he's revelling in at the World Cup. Potter suffered disastrous spells in charge of both Chelsea and West Ham.

But he has revived his reputation since taking charge of Sweden and leading them to the cusp of the World Cup knockout stages. Sweden face the Netherlands in Houston tomorrow (SAT), knowing a win would see them finish top of the group and secure a place in the last 32.

Potter is loving life again and he said: "I think it's just part of the business that we're in, part of the beauty of the game. You can have experiences that don't go so well - and you're quickly written off. And that's just part of life. And that's part of the things you have to accept. I've always had a strong belief in my ability and who I am as a person.

"And you sort of stay true to that. And then as a result of going through things that maybe don't go as well as you'd like, you get these beautiful experiences. And I think that's what's great about life."

Potter admits he is grateful to find himself on the biggest stage of all - with the chance to inspire an entire nation.

He added: "I think with a national team, you're part of something bigger than yourself. "You're part of a team that's looking to inspire a nation, to inspire kids to play football, to come together, to socialise. It's the World Cup. It's something a bit extra. When I think back to myself as a kid, my first memories were watching the World Cup.

"So to be part of that story, to be part of that experience is incredible. And like I said, many a time it's easy to be critical and to pick holes in people. But I'm very, very proud of the career I've had, the ups and the downs. And to be here now, I'm very, very grateful."

Scotland settling down

After a nightmare opening 15 minutes, Scotland have been able to slow the game's tempo down a bit. Some much-needed possession in the Boston heat for Steve Clarke's side before Morocco's Issa Diop picks up the game's first yellow card.

A Scotland free-kick comes to nothing as both teams head for the game's first hydration break.

19th Jun23:15 BST

World Cup's fastest goal

The goal Scotland conceded after 70 seconds is the fastest any side have shipped at the 2026 World Cup so far. Morocco have had all the ball since going ahead and several half-chances to extend their lead.

Steve Clarke's side have been chasing shadows at times, but need to stay in the game. Go two goals down and there's surely no way back - especially in this heat.

1-0 Morocco as Ismael Saibari thunders one in

Disaster for Scotland! Morocco's Ismael Saibari gets in behind the Scottish defence and thumps the ball into the top corner of the net.

19th Jun23:01 BST

We're underway!

Morocco kick us off in Boston. A huge 90 minutes ahead for Steve Clarke's side.

Remember, no Scotland side has ever made it out of the group stages of a World Cup or European Championships. Win this evening and they are through.

They face a huge challenge, though, against African champions Morocco - the heavy favourites, along with Brazil, to finish in the top two of this group.

19th Jun22:59 BST

Morocco seeking first win

Morocco drew against Brazil in their World Cup opener, so they will be under some pressure to get the three points here. Scotland, of course, beat Haiti last time out, so some of the pressure is off Steve Clarke's side - even if a historic place in the knockout stages is at stake.

19th Jun22:38 BST

Clarke’s pre-match thoughts

Scotland manager Steve Clarke has been speaking ahead of the game.

He said: "In your head as a coach you’re always trying to second guess what might happen in a game, someone like Ben (Gannon-Doak) coming on in the second half can be really valuable for us.

"Morocco are one of the favourites for the tournament, they’ll aim to be in the last four. We need to be as good as we can be with the ball, and as good as we can without the ball. Big ask for the players, but they’ll be ready. We just focus on this game, play as well as we can and hopefully the football gods are smiling on us."

How Australia fans dodged sky-high World Cup prices

Most fans attending Friday's USA versus Australia World Cup match at Seattle Stadium were paying anywhere from $1,447 just to get through the door, with some resale tickets reaching as high as $12,000. However, a handful of lucky Australian supporters found themselves watching the same World Cup game for a fraction of the cost, thanks to a little-known federation ticketing program that proved to be one of the smarter moves in world football administration.

One fan, who flew all the way from Sydney for the match, paid just $250 for his ticket through Football Australia's supporters tier allocation. It comes as the unreal ticket prices have left several seats empty at the start of the tournament. It's a deal that, by the standards of the resale market surrounding this game, borders on the extraordinary. Outside Seattle Stadium among a raucous crowd, the fan was visibly aware of how fortunate he had been.

"I've heard that some on the secondary market was about $1,950 to about $3,000, so I was very lucky,” he said to Mirror U.S. Sports. Our football federation has a specific amount of tickets for its own supporters, so I managed to get mine for $250. It was a very good deal,” the fan enthusiastically said.

Another fan spoke to Mirror U.S. Sports ahead of the match and also claimed to have paid just $200 to attend, a meager price compared to most fans. The mechanism behind their tickets is Football Australia's FA+ membership program, which costs $99 per year and grants members entry into a ballot for a capped allocation of World Cup tickets that FIFA distributes to each participating nation.

That allocation amounts to 8 percent of sellable stadium capacity per match, meaning for a game at Seattle's 69,000-capacity ground, Football Australia received roughly 552 tickets to distribute to its own supporters.

Within that allocation, approximately 10 percent of seats fall under the "Supporter Entry Tier," the cheapest bracket, priced around $90 to $250, which FIFA agreed to make available after a global backlash against the tournament's original pricing mode

Full-time as USA make it two wins from two

The co-host's excellent start to this World Cup continues. After Mexico sealed their place in the last 32 and with Canada looking good to join them, the US could seal their place in the knockouts later.

If Turkey do not beat Paraguay, Mauricio Pochettino's side are through as group winners with a game to spare. They were never really tested against Australia to be fair and there will be tougher tests to come, but America's good start continues.

19th Jun21:49 BST

Australia have been better

Australia have had more sights of the US goal in the second half. Perhaps Pochettino's high-pressing team have taken their foot off the gas with three points looking increasingly likely.

But the Aussies haven't forced Matt Freese into any difficult saves so far in the scorching Seattle heat. The hosts are being cheered on by a raucous home support as they look to seal a vital three points.

Tuchel's response to Anthony Barry's interview

Thomas Tuchel has given the green light for Anthony Barry to carry on with his brutally honest half time TV interviews.

England assistant boss Barry shocked the viewing millions with a blunt assessment of the team’s first half performance against Croatia live on ITV. Barry said England had played a “complicated and confusing” first half, they made “fearful patterns” and was highly critical of the players not following instructions and “playing long when we should play short, playing short when we should play long.”

Half-time as USA in firm control

It's been a half where the USA have totally dominated in truth. Not a whole lot of work for either goalkeeper, but Australia have been pinned in their own half for the majority of the opening first 45 minutes and find themselves two goals down.

The US are looking good for winning their first two fixtures at a men's World Cup for only the second time in their history.

2-0 USA as Freeman doubles lead!

Alex Freeman heads in following a free-kick to double the USA's lead! It was initially flagged as offside by the officials.

But after a lengthy VAR check - the goal has been given. It's a long way back now for Australia, who have been second-best throughout the opening 45 minutes in Seattle.
