After weeks of threats, Yemen's Houthi movement has entered the war, launching attacks against Israel in support of Iran. The group controls most of northwestern Yemen, including the capital Sanaa, and a significant portion of the Red Sea coastline—a vital corridor for global trade. The Houthis are now threatening military action in the Red Sea if the waterway is used for hostile operations by the US and Israel against Iran.
