Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe first trailer for Beef season two suggests a striking evolution for Beef, expanding its sharp, character-driven premise into a broader and more socially observant landscape. Set to return as an eight-episode limited series, the anthology continues under creator and showrunner Lee Sung Jin, who once again steers the show’s blend of dark comedy and psychological tension.
This time, the story shifts away from the intimate two-hander of season one and instead follows two couples whose lives collide after witnessing a violent incident at an exclusive country club. At the centre are Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan as Josh and Lindsay, a wealthy pair whose volatile relationship sets off a chain reaction. They are joined by Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny as a younger couple drawn into their orbit, alongside Seoyeon Jang as Eunice.
The trailer leans into a glossy, rarefied world, but beneath the surface lies the same simmering resentment that defined the first season. There is a clear emphasis on class and proximity, with privilege acting as both shield and catalyst. The country club setting becomes a pressure cooker, amplifying tensions and exposing fractures in each relationship.
Synopsis | BEEF returns with a new cast and a new “beef,” as a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife. Newly-engaged Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Charles Melton), both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their General Manager, Joshua Martín (Oscar Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Carey Mulligan). Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung), who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho).
Beef Season 2 will arrive on Netflix from 16th April.
