In 1981, the Rab story began in Sheffield, England, in Rab Carrington’s attic, where he made his first sleeping bag. From there, things took off, and today, Rab offers an extensive catalog of backpacks, sleeping bags, pads, shelters, and apparel. They are known for high-quality gear, and we also appreciate their efforts to reduce the impact of their products at every stage of their lifecycle. The Neutrino Down Sleeping Bag (0°C/32°F) is a lightweight, highly compressible down sleeping bag that weighs just 700 grams with a comfort rating of 5°C (41°F). It’s insulated with 800-fill-power European goose down treated with a Grangers fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish. The main fabric is 10D Pertex Quantum ripstop, and the lining is recycled 20D nylon. The pack size is 16 x 30cm (6.3″ x 11.8″).

The Neutrino Down Sleeping Bag uses Rab’s L.O.F.T 3D construction, which relies on offset baffle walls twisted into a helix shape, creating funnel points that prevent down from migrating and maintain comfort throughout the night. This lets Rab achieve high warmth with less down, minimizing weight and bulk. The sleeping bag has a cinch hood, a two-way zipper, a YKK anti-snag zipper, and it includes a lightweight dry bag compression sack and a storage bag for at home. The regular, left-zip version one winner will receive is long enough for users up to 185cm (6 feet) tall, and it has a tapered mummy shape.
