It’s been confirmed that Disclosure Day and Flora and Son star Eve Hewson has been cast in Reid Carolin’s Isle of Man, alongside Channing Tatum, Deadline reports.

The film was written as a collaborative piece by Carolin, Bryan Johnson and Jason Keller, who also produced, and will be released under Amazon MGM Studios. Brad Pitt’s Plan B and Entertainment 360’s Guymon Casady also produce the film, alongside Carolin and Tatum.

Carolin’s feature will focus on “the Isle of Man TT Races with never-before-seen access to riders and races through an exclusive partnership between producers and event promoters.”

Tatum and Caroline have also worked on a docuseries on the motorcycle racing event, which calls for riders to reach speeds over 200 mph (320 km/h) on a 260-corner track of 37.73 miles and began way back in early 1907.

Hewson took on the role of Maid Marian in Otto Bathurst’s film version of the Robin Hood legend, as well as appearing in Noah Baumbach’s comedy-drama Jay Kelly in an ensemble cast led by George Clooney and Adam Sandler.

Hewson is also set to appear in Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi film Disclosure Day, alongside Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.

Meanwhile, Tatum has recently appeared in Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine as the X-Men’s Gambit and the crime comedy film Roofman by Derek Cianfrance, where he played a fictionalised version of criminal Jeffery Manchester.

Amazon MGM Studios are still riding the high of their successful release of Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s Project Hail Mary, adapted from the Andy Weir sci-fi novel of the same title, and have their big summer film, Masters Of The Universe, opening on June 5th in cinemas.
