The Telangana government has partnered with Meta to transform MeeSeva centres into digital advertising hubs, enabling small businesses across the State to access affordable digital marketing services.

As part of the initiative, the Electronic Service Delivery (ESD)-MeeSeva trained more than 150 Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) from the Core Urban Region (CURE) in Hyderabad on creating and promoting advertisements on Meta platforms.

ESD (MeeSeva) Commissioner T. Ravi Kiran at an event on Friday said the initiative reflected the State government’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs through technology. By combining Meta’s digital advertising expertise with MeeSeva’s network across Telangana, the collaboration would make professional digital marketing accessible to small and rural businesses that previously had limited access to such services.

The training covered the preparation of advertisement creatives, promotional content, audience targeting and digital campaign management. Besides helping businesses expand their digital presence, the initiative is expected to provide an additional source of income for MeeSeva VLEs by enabling them to offer digital advertising as a value-added service.

Businesses, ranging from Kirana stores, fruit and sweet shops, restaurants, pharmacies, hospitals and schools to salons, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, start-ups, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and larger firms, can approach their nearest MeeSeva centre to create advertisements and promote their products and services on Meta platforms.

MeeSeva operators will assist businesses in designing advertisement creatives, identifying target audiences and publishing digital campaigns to improve visibility and customer outreach.

The officials said the initiative expands the role of MeeSeva centres beyond citizen service delivery by supporting entrepreneurship, strengthening small businesses, creating additional livelihood opportunities for Village Level Entrepreneurs and contributing to the State’s digital economy.
